Lighting up TEDxSydney
May 28, 2018 Elena Fullerton

Hands up who wants to be inspired and well… transformed? Not the 100 sit-ups and 400 burpees kind, but in a higher intellectual kinda way. Don’t we all? With just 3 weeks to go, L&A Social is counting down to the superbowl of human connection TEDxSydney’s main event themed Humankind. As TEDxSydney’s Social Media partner, L&Aers have had the privilege to work with these star makers to build a dedicated online community punchin’ out inspiring content and throwbacks to 2017’s event.

This year’s event promises to be bigger than ever, with a stellar line-up of speakers including Magda most-talked-about-person-of-2017 Szubanski; James Bevington Commander of a Nasa-funded 8 month Mars mission simulation; performances from 13 year old ‘Slam Poet King’ Solli Raphael as well as Tom Thum beat boxer and the most watched TEDx performance ever, to name just a few headline acts.

“We are excited to have L&A Social on board, their approach and track record in social media management has helped us build our community and feed their passion creating  excitement for our flagship event on the 15th of June. Having L&A in our corner means great content and all the experiences attendees have will be captured and amplified far and wide,” said Renee Gangemi Head of Marketing TEDxSydney.

“Bringing inspirational presenters and innovative thinkers together comes naturally to TEDxSydney, motivating audiences to share great ideas and increase community engagement through social media channels is our speciality,” explained Gina Lednyak Founder and Managing Director of L&A Social.

“Our team feel privileged to be responsible for amplifying such a positive event focused on the development of humankind in Sydney,” said Gina. “We’ve had an amazing time bringing all the incredible content to life and we can’t wait to apply our unique social media philosophy to keep those passionate, curious fans engaged well after the lights go out on the main event.”

We’ll be there to capture all the insta-worthy speeches, performances and tai chi.  Make sure you don’t miss an update on Insta, Twitter and Facebook as we ignite passions and share all the good stuff, like back stage interviews and insights designed to make you a better human.
